Hi are you a content creator? do you want to create a system that can help create infinite YouTube video ideas? Or are you overwhelmed on how to produce one video per week ? or you are a manager and you don’t have a system to manage tasks you assigned to your Team ? Or are You curious on How we produce our videos from start when we have an idea to hitting publishing on YouTube? So, even if you are not a content creator watch this video till the end you will learn few things regarding Project management. So, by the end of this video will have answered all those questions and show you a system that we have used in our YouTube channel to be able to produce one video per week . This video was inspired by Ali Abdaal he has a YouTube Channel with over 3millions subscribers , Also he has this course dedicated to teach people how to tackle YouTube as business it is called Part time Youtuber and one of course module was on how to design a system that can help you produce infinite video ideas. So, course was somehow expensive at the moment Kshs250k I did not join. So, with money as my obstacle I challenged myself to create a similar system with what I have. I researched further on this system he was talking about and noticed he was referring to Project management. But in simply terms I wanted to learn project management skills and polish the existing one. I learned project management during my electrical diploma, things like Gantt charts but we did not learn so deep just like 4 hours on project management. If you interested on video on what to do before learning diploma in electrical engineering, I will gladly share with you here.Comment down Below if you are interested. So, at the start of 2022 I had a new year resolution on how could I create 2 videos per week . I have managed to produce one video per week at the first quarter of 2022 which I deemed as a success. Creating one video per week has a lot of things going on behind the scene. Obvious before you watch this video on YouTube it requires a lot of work to be done. First it comes into my brain as an idea or someone requests a video. Actually, someone requested we do a video on how we met? If you give this video 50 likes we will drop it on live stream. So, putting out well thought content requires a lot of brainpowers and a lot of note-taking. Speaking of note taking have you watched our video about note taking. Watch it to see how we take our notes for YouTube Videos. In life everything is somehow project based e.g. like if you have to eat tomato in your dish somebody have grow it from seed .He has taken care of it from seed which he bought at the store and planned how it will get planted harvested and sold so that it can reach us as consumer .So everything has a story of origin and humans are more likely to pay a higher prices for product that has a good story .In order to follows everything from story of origin we need to document the process of getting things done and this how project management comes in play. But first let us define what is a project? A Project is a series of tasks to done in order to achieve a desired outcome. So, what is Project Management? Basically, project management is defined as knowledge and techniques used to complete a project in timely manner and within budget. Producing videos for YouTube has enabled me to learn project management by fire and force. Actually, YouTube has been most difficult thing that I have learned in my life. Since there are no exams or you will just cram your stuff and pass exams. YouTube force you to learn difficult skillsets all at once. To succeed in YouTube, you are required to have a huge skillset at your catalog from project management, editing video, designing thumbnails, S.E.O and videography. You are supposed to learn all these skills which require a lot of time to master. Actually, some of those things are offered in colleges as college diploma and degrees. And also, on YouTube you are competing with professional YouTubers and are proven successful on YouTube Platform e.g. j Harris MKBHD many of this youtubers have created teams who help them with their videos. Their teams are composed of a dedicated video editor and graphic designer .If you check like johnny Harris he has a dedicated music producer for all his videos. But all these skillsets may seem difficult to master but best way to learn them is by producing 100 videos on YouTube. By the end of all those videos you will have a mastery on how to talk on camera how to shot video how to manage your videos and track progress of your video production tasks So back to our story how did we manage to produce one video per week? In order to do so we researched various tools online on project management and we settled on GitHub as our Project management system. So, for those of us who don’t know what is GitHub? GitHub is website where developers (app or web developer) store their work online and help track the progress of their project and to show which tasks were completed by who. So, GitHub has a new feature about project about pm which seem to interest me. Actually, I will take you on a tour on My YouTube Project on GitHub which will be on a part 2 series of this Episode. So before we end this video we have to say this many youtubers has a system on how to track video ideas some uses pen and paper but we sought to use GitHub because it helped us solve our problems we encountered from various system we were using like notion ,pen and paper , excel sheets . But basic idea is to record an ideas once it comes it your brain. So we have come to the end of part one of this video but first hit subscribe button to be on waiting list for part 2 of this video .Also give this video a like for YouTube algorithm also watch our next video here

Media Biasly

As citizens living in a 21st century world, we are constantly surrounded by media in its various forms. Whether this be social media, news feeds, or other methods of media consumption, media is able to penetrate almost every realm of society.  But how do we know what media is reliable? How can we tell what is “fake news” and what is real? The answer to these questions is undeniably complicated but can be made easier through media literacy.  So what is media literacy? At its root, media literacy is simply the process of applying critical thinking to the media a person consumes. What does this actually mean practically though? Well, let's begin with an example. Say you are scrolling through your social media feeds and come across a post saying that the President of the United States has just signed an executive order that will cost thousands of people their jobs. This piece of media, without applying media literacy, will be taken at face value and added to your vault of ideas and i
